Beth is a 25 year veteran in corporate human resources. Her area of expertise is in the recruitment of professionals at all levels. Her many years of rigorous interviewing, conducting personality tests, mentoring, and meeting people from all walks of life have given her the skills to really understand people and what makes them “tick”.
Beth is formally trained and certified in Human Resource Management and Leadership through Northern Illinois University, JP Horizons, Lohrman, and Padgett Thompson. She has also been recognized and published in national publications for best practices in recruiting, training, employee retention and internship programs along with serving on national committees for Recruiting, Education and Safety.
Beth has recognized the need and difficulty for singles over 40 to meet others. She applied the techniques she successfully deployed in the corporate environment to this social challenge. After extensive market research and networking in conjunction with professionals, Beth recognized the necessity for an effective social opportunity. Understanding the limitations that other venues offer, Beth created Designed2Date, Inc. as the unique solution for singles over the age of 40.
Beth is the President of the GLMV Chamber of Commerce Networking 3x2 Group, Event Co-Chair for Meals On Wheels 2011 Lake County Charity Event, a member of The Networking Group (TNG) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management . She has been a Lake County resident for over 40 years and currently resides in Vernon Hills.
